Drinking water safety and COVID-19 Coronavirus

COVID 19 Coronavirus

We want everyone to know we understand at this time in our lives it seems nothing is “normal”. Almost everything we do has changed and will not get back to “normal” until the COVID-19 Coronavirus is beaten.

We’re told to stay at home and practice social distancing so we’re missing our family and friends. We can’t go out and sit down to have a bite to eat so we’re cooking and eating at home. We’re working remotely more than ever to avoid group meeting. We cancel weddings to maintain social distancing and celebrate birthdays alone. The shelves in the stores are bare of essentials. We wear masks when we are in public. So much has and is changing so rapidly. One can only imagine what permanent changes will come out of these challenging times.

Some things have not changed such as the fact clean safe water is essential to life and you might be concerned about becoming infected with COVID-19 through your water. We want to share this good news from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);

“The COVID-19 virus has not been detected in drinking water. Conventional water treatment methods that use filtration and disinfection, such as those in most municipal drinking water systems, should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19”.

For added disinfection of our water consider installing a whole house UV (ultraviolet) light disinfection system. We hope this helps in some small way to bring some comfort about your water and COVID-19 coronavirus. If you have any questions please ask and we will do our best to get you the most accurate answer.
