Water Treatment

This is a quick list of what to expect using PolyHalt® treatmentICS-SPK 977Web

  • Just as is the case with salt softened water, when evaporated, PolyHalt® treated water leaves soluble spots that are easy to clean
  • Soaps will form more suds in PolyHalt® treated water
  • You will use less soap, detergents, conditioners etc.
  • Hardness test kits don’t work. Hardness as measured with a hardness test kit doesn’t change and will measure the same before and after treatment. A different test is required to show PolyHalt® is working. A soap test will show if PolyHalt® is present and working.
  • PolyHalt® treated water does not feel slippery. Even though hard water problems are addressed with PolyHalt® you will not get that slippery, slimy feeling you do with salt softened water. If you can’t live without the slippery feeling produced by conventional softeners PolyHalt® treatment may not be right for you
  • Over time, with use of PolyHalt®, existing buildup in plumbing will soften and be removed. Sometimes this creates a noticeable, though, temporary increase in spotting or even accumulation of granules of hardness in shower heads, sink aerators and so on and can lead to more frequent cleaning but again, this is temporary and will stop when existing buildup has been addressed
  • No salt it in your diet
  • Laundry will feel softer and stay whiter and brighter longer
  • PolyHalt® will form a thin protective layer on metallic components of plumbing and appliances
  • No need to deal with salt. You don’t have to buy, transport, store, fill the salt tank, dispose of empty bags, clean up the mess
  • Low maintenance, save hours per year because you don’t have to deal with salt.
  • No salty waste water. PolyHalt® treatment systems don’t have to be installed near a drain and they are not banned or restricted by governing bodies
  • No power. PolyHalt® treatment systems do not use power so there is no need to hire an electrician and they don’t have to be located near power
  • Small size compare to a conventional softener. PolyHalt® treatment systems are much smaller in size and hang on a wall so they don’t take any valuable floor space
  • No salty water to harm your plants, lawn or garden
  • Treat more than just hardness. Use PolyHalt® treatment systems for hardness, iron, manganese, low pH, low TDS aggressive water and silica
  • PolyHalt® is an easy way to upgrade and improve existing treatment systems
  • PolyHalt® is often combined with other treatments for problems such as sediment and bad taste and odor including those caused by chlorine
  • You will can’t see, taste or smell PolyHalt® because it is colorless, tasteless and odorless
  • PolyHalt® in your treatment system is a consumable and typically lasts a year before needing to be replaced
