The
O3CYCLONE contact and off-gas system
provides multiple valuable benefits in water treatment systems.
The O3CYCLONE
utilizes a specially designed tank adapter and internal piping system along
with a modified off-gas vent valve that was originally designed to remove
excess ozone prior to down stream filtration / treatment in pressurized water streams.
In a pressurized ozone system they provide time for ozone
to work on the water and an efficient process
to strip excess ozone (gas) from the water all will enabling a simplified
system design and installation. O3CYCLONE systems work equally as well to remove excess air injected or pumped into pressurized water streams. O3CYCLONE systems efficiently remove naturally entrained gasses such as methane from the water. Backwashing media filters are very inefficient or may fail completely when there is gasses in the feed water. O3CYCLONE systems effectively remove gases from the feed water stream for proper filter operation. All this is accomplished while keeping the water under pressure eliminating the need for large storage tanks and additional pumps to re-pressurize the water resulting in a smaller and more economical de-gas system. The gas removal process is simple; as water containing gas flows downward to exit through the lower distributor tube the gasses escape upward through the off-gas vent valve. Oxidized particles leave in the water stream and are caught in a post-filter such as the CASCADIANฎ SuperTRAPฎ or OxiMax. |
